Welcome to the Rothenberg Lab!

RothenbergLabSummer2023.png

The Single-Molecule Biophotonics research laboratory at New York University School of Medicine uses innovative experimental approaches for solving fundamental questions in biomedical research with strong research focus on mechanisms of DNA Replication, DNA Repair and Genomic Integrity in Cancer, in Neurological Diseases and Immunity.

Our lab specializes in development of new cutting-edge single-molecule fluorescence imaging techniques, computational methods and novel assays and their applications for studying molecular mechanisms relevant to diverse human diseases and syndromes.

We utilize our approaches and assays for biomarker discovery and in explorations of therapeutic targets and for pharmacological mechanisms-of-action.
